Miss You, Princess
I am entering this card into two different challenges. The first is for Friday Sketchers, with their fun and fabulous sketch. The second is the High Hopes challenge. Their challenge this time is to add some glitter and sparkle to our cards. I don't know how well you can see it, but there I added stickles to all the trim on the princess' dress.
The sentiment is from a TAC set, the lattice embossing was done with my Scorpal, and the other embossing on the pinkish cardstock was done with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The ribbon and most of the cardstock is from TAC. The flowers were sponged with Bella Rose palette ink.

An Alien-Girl Style
It was suggested, after I made my first two alien cards, that I should make one that was a girl. This is what I came up with using this week's sketch from SCS.
When I was done, neither of my boys were too sure that this card was a good idea. BJ went so far as to say it was just a boy alien in girl's clothes. Sooo, I had to ask Melora what she thought, since I figured on sending this to a young girl. And, I hate to say it, she agreed with them. She did say she thought it would look better if the alien had a hair bow. Me: "Hairbow?! Why would an alien, without any hair, wear a bow?!" Hmmmm....
I HAD thought this quite cute, but now am not sure about sending it. What do you think?

Feel Better Soon
I combined two challenges for this card. One was a sketch challenge from Sketch Saturday, and the other is a color challenge from Our Creative Corner which was to use an analogous color scheme. What this means is colors right next to eachother on the color wheel...in this case, three colors. I used purple, green, and blue. I must say that I really like these colors together.
The stamp I used are from TAC's "Everyday Cuties" set. The other supplies I used were colored pencils, paper piercer, scalloped nesties, coluzzle, and a Cuttlebug embossing folder with my Big Shot.

A Birthday Card
I love this card...well except for the little bits of smudgy help from Julia that you can see if you look close. All the supplies are from The Angel Company except for the flowers, which were a gift from a friend. They were white to start, but I sponged them so that they would match the card. The girl is from a stamp set called "Wonder and Joy" and the sentiment is from "Everyday Cuties." The paper is "More Mimi." I only have one problem with that paper...it is double sided and I have to decide which beautiful side I want to use. The cardstock is Kraft and brown.
Other supplies: TAC ribbon, coluzzle, paper piercer, colored pencil and brads
I have found a couple of new (to me) challenge sites that I am going to try to participate in often. One is called Friday Sketchers and that is where I found the sketch to make this card...you need to go there and check out their design team work..WOW!

SCS Sketch Wedding
I am not so sure what I think of this card, but thought I would share it anyway. I used this week's MOJO Monday sketch, and it was more of a challenge than I thought it would be. Believe me the card I had in my head is waaaay more beautiful than this =).
Stamp: Blissfully Ever After-TAC
Accessories: Stickles, TAC ribbon, CM flower punch, misc paper, nestie, and bling

Teddy Bear Valentine
I decided to make Valentine's for some very special people in my life, and this is my first one. I used a digital image from teddybo. I just love these little bears.
I colored this with colored pencil, ran the embossing folder through my big shot, added some flowers and brads, and ta daa...finished.

Again?
I know, I know, some of you are saying, but Trudy, you showed us this card yesterday. Well, if you look close enough you will realize that it is a little bit different. Just a tad. I reversed the colors on the alien's clothes, made the strip smaller, and that is about it. Okay, okay, you're right..., it is pretty much the same.
Stamps: High Hopes
And here is a picture of my precious little girl, who has decided that she loves trains. I am so glad we saved the boys Thomas the Tank stuff, because she is having a blast with it...and her brothers are joining her.

A Stellar Day
I used Hopes Stamps, Provo Craft paper, and a sketch from Friday Sketchers to make this card. My boys really like it, so I am sure a few other boys will as well.

Birthday Bug
This card was made using last week's Splitcoast sketch, but I have actually made many cards with this layout in past years.
The stamp set, from TAC, is called "Bug of Fun," and colored with watercolor pencil and dove blender pen. The paper is called "A Little Whimsy" and is also from TAC.

Boot Scootin' and Storytime
This is the first time I used the largest of the boots from TACs "Cowboy Boots" set, and I likey. The card was inspired by this week's sketch over on Splitcoast, so it came together fast and easy...have I mentioned how much I love sketches?? Well, I guess I should tell you then, I LOVE SKETCHES.
The paper and eyelets for this card are also from TAC. I also used a Friskar's border punch and Cuttlebug embossing folder.
And last, but not least, here is a pic of Julia at the end of storytime last week, enjoying the snack that the library provided. I thought I had more of her craft in here, but I guess not. She made a birthday card that we are going to save for...shhhh, don't tell...Grandma. =)

Tomboy
I have been in love with this card ever since I received it from my dear stamping friend Angela -quite a few months ago. I asked her immediately if I could share it on my blog, and she agreed. The only problem was that I lost the card in the mess that was my stamping room. As I am slowly putting things back into my now clean and repainted stamp room, I am finding things that I lost, or even forgot I had. This card is one of them, YEAH!!!
I love what she did with this little girl to make her into the perfect tomboy. She took the hat and glove from the little boy in this stamp set, cut them off, and put them on this little girl. PERFECT!!!
If you want to see another amazing project she did with this stamps set, check out THIS post on her blog. Her work is wonderful.
Thanks, Angela, for the card and images.

Another Birthday Card
I just love how this card came out, so cute. I made it while playing with this weeks MOJO Monday sketch
The stamps and paper are all from TAC. The paper is called "Catelyn" and I like it so much that I have a hard time cutting into it to make a card, lol. The stamp sets are called "Dear Friend" and the retired "Soft Spoken"

Get Sketchy Birthday
I used the sketch found HERE to make this card. The stamps are from The Angel Company's "Little Cupcake" and "Great Greetings" stamp sets. I put just a touch of glitter on the cake using a glitter pen, and then put it up on pop dots for a little dimension.
Now I just have to figure out how to get my brads lined up in a straight line...argh.

Stairstep
I finally decided to try a stairstep card. I was browsing through SCS and was so inspired by THIS card, that I just had to CASE it.
The stamps are all from High Hopes, except for the little flowers around the sentiment, which are from a retired TAC set. Colored with colored pencil.

My friend Carol is celebrating her blogoversary by giving away some stamp sets. Check them out HERE
These sets are just too cute, so maybe you should forget going to check them out and just let me have them. Ok, ok, just kiddin' =)

Kinda Yellow
When I was taking a picture of this card, Anthony had to give me his two cents worth. "It is a little bit too yellow, but other than that it is really pretty." You know what? I agree with him, =).
I have had this stamp so long that I don't know what company gets the credit of making it. The sentiment is from TACs "Tag Tidbits," which is one of my favorite all purpose saying sets. Those little sentiments can fit about anywhere on a card.

Happy Birthday
I made this birthday card for a very special person. I just can't say for whom yet, because they haven't received it; it is, however, masculine for a reason =).
The card was created from this week's Mojo Monday sketch. The stamps and paper are all from TAC. The embossing was done with my Big Shot and a Cuttlebug folder, and the coloring was done with watercolor pencil.

It's Your Day
I made this using one of TAC's great hostess sets called "One of a Kind." Right now a hostess can receive not one, not two, but THREE hostess sets for free just for having a party! Add that to the other incredible hostess rewards and you can't go wrong.
You can see all of the hostess sets, and read more about this special HERE (just scroll down to see the hostess sets)

Wishing You...
I am missing the warm breezy weather of spring, and the thought of skipping through some flower sounds so wonderful that I pulled out some spring colors and made a card for a little girl.
The little girl is from TAC's "Spunky Sprite Girlz" (T3143). I paper pieced her dress, and then added a little shading. The sentiment and the fake stitching are also TACs sets.
The flowers are from a punch I had forgotten I had and just came across recently. I love it when these things happen, it is like getting a gift.
