It's Raining, It's Pouring

An easy card that took longer than it should. The coloring, colored pencils, just wasn't happening.

Stamp from TAC's "Oh No She Didn't" set, ribbon from my friend Tina, and paper from my stash. There is a little bit of stickles on her dress, but besides that it is a very bare card. Merry Christmas!

A Little Side-Tracked

I have had many thing that need done in the last few weeks, and even more in the week to come, but last night I needed a break, and decided to stamp just for the fun of it. I had received the SplitCoastStampers newsletter that morning, and decided to try the tutorial they had for this Z-fold card.

I was surprised how easy it was to make, and how quickly it was completed. I will definitely try it again when I have more time and add a few tweeks of my own. The only thing I don't like about it is that the top flap won't lie flat, but I think I can fix that in the future.

Supplies:
Stamps: The Angel Company (I just love this little girl, she reminds me of my daughter)
Paper: SU! (really, really old patterned paper)
Ink: Palette Noir and Burnt Umber
Colored with colored pencil
Shape cut with Nestabilities and my Big Shot

Cutie Giraffe

I don't know why I like giraffe's on baby cards so much, but I do. They just seem to fit.
The giraffe stamp is from "High Hopes" and the background sentiment is from TAC's set called "Hello Baby." The dots on the background were made with my cuttlebug embossing folder, and the lines across the blue were made with my Scor-pal (love 'em both)

This card is for the latest challenge over on the High Hopes blog, which was to use an animal on your card.
