Valentine Swap Card

Here is a card that I did for a recent swap I was in. I wanted to wait until all the participants received their swaps before posting it here, just in case some of them visit here. The stamp sets I used are called Celtic Images and Heart-itude . The patterned paper I used is from TACs Mimi collection.
You may remember the layout as one of my previous sketches as well.
Tomorrow I will show you one of the wonderful cards that I received in this swap...

What's Moo?

I made the card for this weeks Ad Challenge on A Shade of Blue.

I received this stamped cow image from another wonderful demo and have had such fun playing with it. The stamp sets are called What's Moo? (I just love these ole gals) and Tag Tidbits. I colored using watercolor pencil and a dove blender pen.

Baby Card

I have spent the weekend working on swaps...since I try not to post my swaps until those in the swap have received their cards I don't have anything new to share...SO, I went searching through my files and found this card, from another swap, that I had not posted before.

The card uses the stamp set Everyday Events, the paper Toodle Loo, and scrappers floss.

A Couple Challenge Items

I made these two cards for challenges posted on A Shade of Blue.

On the bookmark I used the stamp sets Gerbera Daisy, Seeds of Blessing (I love the sentiments is this one), and Basic Backgrounds (retired). The corner punch I used is from SU!
I used the Keep Cluckin' set (retired) on the chicken card. I love this set and was so sad to see it go.

Sketch Challenge 1-22

Here is another sketch challenge. It is taken from page 3 of the current TAC Spring/Summer 2008 Catalogue. That is one of my favorite pages in the catty.

For my card I used the recently retired "Keep On Cluckin' " set.

Hang Loose

I received some stamped images of this car from TACs stamp set "Hang Loose" from the wonderful Toni W. This is the first card that I made with it and I must say I need to work on my coloring....I thought I would share it anyways...hopefully by the last card I make with this you will see an improvement. The sentiment is from the stamp set Seeds of Blessing. (I love the sayings in that set) The paper I used is TACs "Just Like Dad" The ribbon is from SU!
The scan did funny things to the top of the scan because of the little metal brands that I used for hubcaps.

Girly Pirate

Here is another card using the stamp sets Pirates, Treasure Seeker, and the the paper Rustic Chic. I thought this pirate looked like a girl, and know a couple little girls who would love to get a pirate card, so I went for it. Hope you like it.

Pirate Captain

Here is another card I made with the Pirates and Treasure Seekers stamp sets. I once again used the Rustic Chic paper. I just eyeballed my paper piercing since I couldn't find my "tool" (aka piece of plastic canvas), so don't look too closely at that.

You Are A Gem

Here is my most recent card...I am hoping for some time to stamp today...we will see if the kiddos and homeschooling allow for that.
The sets that I used for this card are called Pirates and Treasure Seeker, the patterned paper is called Rustic Chic...I love that paper. I colored using watercolor pencils, a dove blender pen, gold stickles, and a Souffle pen.

Be Mine Valentine

I made this card for the Stash Challenge on A Shade of Blue. The challenge was to use an old Valentine set that you have not used for awhile. I did not have any of those, but I DID have this set which is a real challenge for me to use since it is not my normal style of stamp set (I am more of a cutesy stamper). I am not sure if I like what I came up with, but here it is.

The stamp sets I used are Forever and Fancy Curls. The patterned paper is Uptown Girl.

Baby to Love Coaster

I made this caoster quite a long time ago, but somehow never managed to post it here. I use TACs paper line Toodle Loo, which I ABSOLUTELY love! I also used their stamp sets Alpha Grunge, Simplebet, and the recently retired Wild Animals.

New TAC Catalogue

The Spring/Summer TAC Catalogue is here, and I am loving it! Of course, I am a bit biased towards this one since I was asked to design some samples for it. Here is one of my pages that made it in the new catty. That little cutie is my youngest son Brandon. I love this page because of all the memories it brings back to me...boy do they grow tooo fast!
The sets I used on this are Running Stitches, You Are Mine, and Love Doodles. The paper is the cardstock that matches TACs Mimi paper collection, and the ribbon is also from TACs Mimi Collection.

Here is this weeks sketch challenge. If you look down a couple of posts (in December) you will see a red baseball card that I made using this sketch. Have a wonderful New Year!
