Just Scrap It!

This card was made with all scraps from THIS card, yep, even the main image was a "scrap" from that card. I had started the card with the dragon in pink, then wasn't sure I liked it and tried it in green, and, as you can see, went back to the original pink, leaving a fully colored and cut out image. I couldn't just leave it there all lonely, so I just threw this card together with the scraps that were on the table.
The front of this card is about an inch shorter than the back, and the patterned paper is actually on both the inside, and, when closed, shows on the outside too.

Stamps: Seymore's Sick Day (High Hopes) Running Stitches (TAC)
Paper: Lilly Ana SWIC and matching cardstock (TAC)
I colored as usual with watercolor pencil and dove blender pen.

Look at You GO!!!

I was sitting with a couple of my CDs that hold my stamps in front of me (I was supposed to be cleaning them off the table) when I noticed these two stamps-the CDs were sitting right next to each other- and thought, "I wonder if I could make that cat go sailing?" Here is what I came up with, and let me tell you, I won't do it again! LOL! Talk about a BUNCH of masking!

The balloon, which is fron High Hopes, is a single balloon stamped over and over, I hand drew the strings (as if you couldn't tell, hee hee). I stamped the cat, which is from TACs "Playful Kitties" set, and then masked it and the lower balloons to sponge the sky. It was really frustrating to be almost done and then smear some ink....so don't look too closely at the details.

This is for the High Hopes challenge to use sponging on a card. I sponged both the edges and the sky. I hope the sky, and all the colors for that matter, show up better on your computer than they are on mine.

Oh, and I almost forgot, the sentiment is from TACs "Bitty Bugs" set....at least I think that is what it is called, but I am typing this waaay to early in the morning to be able to think clearly.

Logger Santa

This is a High Hopes stamp that I received for free!!! I am playing with it to see whether or not I will use it for some of my Christmas cards this year. I also used TACs "Running Stitches" stamp set. It is one of those stamp sets that I wonder how I ever lived without it. It is another set I didn't have to pay for....thank Jen!!! I am still loving it years later.
I colored with watercolor pencil and dove blender. The cardstock is from DCWV.
The patterned paper is from retired from TAC...wish we still carried it.
I also used a corner rounder for the scallops and then pierced each scallop with a paper piercer
Yes, this is mounted on a white cardbase, but the scan makes it look as if the scalloped piece is coming off the card instead.

Get Well Soon

I just love these dragon stamps from High Hopes, I think they are so adorable! This one is called Seymore's Sick Day, but I made it a little girl dragon this time.
I also used TACs "Running Stitches" stamp set, along with their wonderful Lilly Ana paper. I colored using watercolor pencils and blender pen. The little paper posie on the tag is also from TAC.
The layout for this card was done using a sketch posted LAST week over on the High Hopes blog. They also have a guest designer call out, head on over to the blog and check out the details.

Where is My MOJO??

Where oh where did it go??? I am havnig trouble creating anything that I like the last few days. I even have new stamps and that is not helping!!! This card was made with a couple of those new stamps and some old paper.

The stamps are from High Hopes. This "doctor" just cracks me up. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey, but I had forgotten that I owned it until I happened across it the other day.
The sentiment was printed off of my computer.
I colored with just colored pencils, still working on getting those right, but it is better IRL than the scan shows.

Nothin" But Net

Isn't this card great? I love it, but I didn't make it. This was made by another angel Betsy. You can visit her blog HERE. She actually sent this to me months ago, along with some stamped images of this set, and can you believe I forgot about them!!! I was in the middle of a project, so they were put in a pile, and I just recently came across them again. Hopefully I will have time to play with them soon, but I had to share this cute card right away

I made this card a couple of weeks ago, but never posted it. It uses TACS Juliette SWIC for ALL the paper, and also the matching ribbon. I used some little "dew drops" as accents, and the bulk of them make the scan a little fuzzy, but I really like how they look IRL. The cat is from "Playful Kitties" and the sentiment is from "Life is Short" (both TAC)

New Little Cupcake

If you haven't already been able to tell I LOVE the new "Little Cupcake" set that is a new release from TAC. Here is a new card I just put together in record time this morning. The cardstock is DCWV, the paper from who knows where, I colored with watercolor pencil, and punched out the scallop. I created the background with my new Scor-pal, and used a paper piercer to poke holes around the edge of the scalloped oval. I even found mini brads that matched perfectly with my project...how fun!!!

Diana's Little Fireman

Isn't this just tooo cute! This card was made by my awesome friend Diana. Her stamping has become amazing!
As I mentioned before Diana and I swapped some images recently and then agreed to make and send a card to each other using one of the images we received. It was sooo fun. I LOVE what she did, but I think this is the first time ever that I have liked the inside of a card as much as the outside. WOWZA!
You can see some of her other creations at her blog HERE
To see the card I made for her go to THIS post
Here is the inside and a close up of the inside.

Little Fisherman

Here is another card I made using one of the images my friend Diana sent me. I love him, he is just too cute and fits so many of the men in my life...just not my DH, lol.
The paper is TACs "Just Like Dad" with DCWV cardstock. I cut the circlular shapes with the large Coluzzle template I bought from TAC. I colored with watercolor pencil and a dove blender, added some ddodling around the edges and some mini brads. The "sewing" on the card was done with TACs "Running Stitches set.

Last Card Standing

Here is the last lonely card standing, and it not because it is my favorite, in fact it is the opposite. I didn't really care for this card when I was done, but I sent it in anyways, just in case someone else's tastes were different than me.
I used "Little Cupcakes" stamp set, Lilly Ana paper and cardstock, Lime Green Scrappers Floss, Noir Palette ink, and watercolor pencils and blender pen.
Enjoy.

I am getting to the end of the cards that I made for Escape. Tomorrow will be the last lonely card that is left to be shown. As you can see I fell in love with the "Little Cupcake" set and had a hard putting it down to play with the other sets they sent me.
The first card uses the stamp set "Little Cupcake" with Lilly Ana paper and cardstock. I also used the White Cardstock Strips, Lilly Ana ribbon, mini brads, Coluzzle circle, and large scallop circle punch. I colored as usual with watercolor pencils and blender pen. The inks are Palette's Noir and Bella Rose.
On this second card I also used Lilly Ana cardstock and paper, combined with the hardware that I believe I had from the Mimi collection. I stamped in Noir Palette and colored with watercolor pencils. The ovals were cut with the Oval Coluzzle.

True Beauty

I made these two cards using TACs new "True Beauty" stamp set. For paper I used Lilly Ana cardstock and patterned and the ribbon is also from the Lilly Ana collection. Ink: Beaux Arts Blue and Noir Palette I colored with watercolor pencil and blender pen

Happy Monday

Here is another page I made for the boards at Escape. The little cutie on this page is not my own, but the adorable daughter of a friend who has given me permission to use photos of her daughter for publication.
I could NOT get a good picture of this page. Some of the details are hard to see if you don't see it in person. There is some paper piecing as a frame around the image, and then outside the paper piecing some of the paisleys from the set I used are stamped in Versamark...I really wish I had embossed them, but I was running out of time to get them back to TAC, so I didn't redo it. I will when I copy this page for my own albums.
Stamps: "A Kind of Gratitude" and "Treasure Seeker"
Other Supplies:
Lilly Ana Cardstock, white cardstock, watercolor pencil and blender, Beaux Arts Blue Palette, Noir Palette, Versamark ink, paper piercer, and plastic canvas.
