Final Farewell Blog Hop

As many of you know The Angel Company decided to close it's "doors." It is now no longer in business. My time with TAC has been a special and wonderful time for me. I have made so many new friends and learned so much, both about myself and crafting. Thank you Mischelle for giving me a wonderful company to be a part of these last, almost, 7 years. Best wishes to you and to each of my angel friends. God bless you as you go foward into whatever new paths you choose.

Some of us angels decided we needed a way to say goodbye to this special company and our fabulous friend Mischelle, and that is what this blog hop is...hop from site to site (posted below) and see wonderful work done with images from The Angel Company.The two cards above were done with one of my favorite sets, designed by Nina B., from TACs newest catalog. It is called "Vintage Rides." The patterned paper in the plane card is from TAC's paper called "Toodle Loo." The clouds were hand drawn.


This next card was done with another great set called, "Sweet Day Cupcake," and was so much fun to play with.

The image on this card was actually colored by my friend Cristy when we were stamping together a little bit ago, but she decided it didn't work on her card. As it lay there on the table this card layout just burst into my head. I love it when that happens =).

The last card is also done with "Sweet Day Cupcake" I really like the simplicity of it. You can't really tell, but there is a little bit of Glossy Accents.

I CASED this simple and sweet card from HERE. I love how easy it is. Punch 3 small circle, adhere, color and cut out your image, adhere with a popdot and you're pretty much there.

Cupcake Birthday

This card was inspired by the beautiful cards made by Mabelle over on TAC's Savvy Projects blog. Mabelle is an amazing artist, in fact she is the one who drew both the image you see here, and the ones that you see on TAC's blog. Her stamps are favorites of mine.

I didn't have the stamp set that she created her cards with, but the cupcakes reminded me of the little cutie, holding the cupcake, that you see above.

Ignore the little paper clip that you see in the second pic; it is just there to hold this gate-fold style card closed for the picture. All supplies on this card are from The Angel Company.

Get Sketchy Birthday

I used the sketch found HERE to make this card. The stamps are from The Angel Company's "Little Cupcake" and "Great Greetings" stamp sets. I put just a touch of glitter on the cake using a glitter pen, and then put it up on pop dots for a little dimension.
Now I just have to figure out how to get my brads lined up in a straight line...argh.

Little Cupcake, Birthday Wishes

I made this card while stamping with my friend Hannah Sunday afternoon. I wish I had taken some pics of her cards...she is 12 years old and all her cards have an extra flourish to them that mine "staid" cards don't have.

This is a pic of the only card that I created in the same time it took her to do 3. For some reason I create a lot slower when stamping with friends...maybe because my mouth is running and my hands have to gesture for me to be able to talk...kinda makes it hard to stamp.

This card measures 4x4, and was done with TACs stamp set called "Little Cupcake" (R-2038), Uptown Girl paper (V-922), black and white cardstock, a white gel pen, and glitter pen. The coloring was done with watercolor pencils, a dove blender, and a gray tombow marker.

Really simple, but I like it.

Another Little Cupcake

Here is the card that most of the scraps on the previous post came from. I made this card for the purpose of showing masking in order make one thing look like it is in front of another.

Supplies:

Little Cupcake, Palette Noir, watercolor pencils, blender pen, grosgrain ribbon, DCWV cardstock, and patterned paper from my stash.

Birthday Cake

Here is a card made totally out of scraps that were laying on the top of my table. It is a very simple card, but will work very well for my brothers, who tend to look at a birthday card, think "Cool, Trudy remembered my birthday," then check to see if there is any $$$ in it, and toss it in the trash. LOL!!! They DO like that I make them personally though, so something like this works quite well.

The stamp set is TACs "Little Cupcake" set in the recent Serendpity. The paper is DCWV and some from my stash.

Hoppin" for Cupcakes

New Little Cupcake

If you haven't already been able to tell I LOVE the new "Little Cupcake" set that is a new release from TAC. Here is a new card I just put together in record time this morning. The cardstock is DCWV, the paper from who knows where, I colored with watercolor pencil, and punched out the scallop. I created the background with my new Scor-pal, and used a paper piercer to poke holes around the edge of the scalloped oval. I even found mini brads that matched perfectly with my project...how fun!!!

I am getting to the end of the cards that I made for Escape. Tomorrow will be the last lonely card that is left to be shown. As you can see I fell in love with the "Little Cupcake" set and had a hard putting it down to play with the other sets they sent me.

The first card uses the stamp set "Little Cupcake" with Lilly Ana paper and cardstock. I also used the White Cardstock Strips, Lilly Ana ribbon, mini brads, Coluzzle circle, and large scallop circle punch. I colored as usual with watercolor pencils and blender pen. The inks are Palette's Noir and Bella Rose.

On this second card I also used Lilly Ana cardstock and paper, combined with the hardware that I believe I had from the Mimi collection. I stamped in Noir Palette and colored with watercolor pencils. The ovals were cut with the Oval Coluzzle.

Little Cupcakes

Here are two more quick and fun cards using the brand new "Little Cupcake" from TACs new magalogue. This first one is 4x4 sized and used some scraps of paper I had left over from other cards. The paper is all from the "Lilly Anna SWIC" and matching cardstock (besides the white of course). I also used paper piercing around the edges, a oval scallop punch, oval coluzzle, and watercolor pencils.

This second one is another card (A2 sized) using only scraps and white paper. I again used paper piercing, and watercolor pencils with a blender. I also used my Coluzzles for the circles. The ink was Palette Noir and Bella Rose.
