Playing with a New Set

I just couldn't wait to get my hands on this stamp set...my hands fairly itched to color it, and this image in particular. I had the background in mind quickly as well, but don't think I like it as well as I first invisioned. It takes over the card a little bit more than I wanted, but still, I think it is kinda cute.

Memory Verse Monday-Psalms 1:3

This is not one of my favorite pages...I don't care for my tree, but oh well, it did the job it was supposed to do, and my kids and I had fun memorizing the verse.

Sorry this is a little late. I was out of town for a wedding, lost my keys, and so ended up arriving home a couple of days later than I planned.

It is pretty simple, but it worked for my kids and me. The sun and moon were out of a pattern book I have. I will let you know the name when it surfaces again.

A couple of months ago I won a contest with TAC, but, because they thought were going to use part of it in the catty they didn't post it all when the winners were published. I thought I would do that now to show the whole entry together, or at least I thought I would before I went to find all the pictures. I must have deleted the pics of the banner off the computer, so I will just post a link to where it was first posted, and the rest of the pics here.


These were all made with the idea of holding a kid's beach party. The first is a party favor:

Memory Verse Monday

Every Monday, for as long as I can keep up with it, I am going to start sharing some of the pages that I made for my sons memory verse books when they were very little. We haven't kept up these, so they have forgotten many of the verses. Our plan is to relearn them as they are posted, and then to add more verses after that. This way Julia can join in with us as she grows, and we can do better at hiding God's Word in our hearts.

I am not going to post these in the way that they were made, but instead in the order they are in Anthony's book (the first book I started), and I believe that they are in biblical order. You will see some of my "artistic" style change through out the book. The book is fun for me to go through, just for this reason, although some of the older ones make me cringe =).
