Graphic Blooms Blessings

I just realized, when uploading this card to the PaperWings Gallery, that I never uploaded it to my blog...so rather belatedly, here it is.
I made this card for the Card to Crop Contest for TAC demos...and it WON!
To see the scrapbook page that was made to match this go HERE
I used DCWV (Die Cuts with View) paper, Palette ink (Sunflower, a red, and Jardin Moss, I think). I used my corner rounder for the scallops, and the new white gel pen from Serendipity for the dots. The paper piercing was done with a paper piercer and plastic canvas.
The stamp sets I used are "Seeds of Blessling" and "Graphic Blooms" I cut down the yellow flower to make it fit the card, and the leaves are also made with one of the flowers that I cut apart.

  1. Great card Trudy - sometimes this is a hard palette to work with but you did it perfectly by just having a strip of the patterned paper! Love those cut out flowers. :) I end up cutting too closely (or unevenly!) but yours are perfect!

  3. I love this card, Trudy... the minute I saw it in the winners' circle :) Especially love the way you have the flowers framing the sentiment.

  4. Congrats Trudy. I like the color combo very much and the slightly tilted main image/photo on both give an extra 'energy' to them. What a great idea to use the flowers as your image/photo corners.
