Blog Hop Time-Retiring Sets




I am excited to be participating in this month's blog hop, sponsored by Paper Wings, a fun place for angels to hang out, and a site for everyone to get ideas for projects and done with stamps from The Angel Company.




For this month's blog hop we are focusing only on stamp sets that will be retiring at the end of June. That is right, the stamps that you see in this hop are only available for a short time! The good news is that they are available at a discounted price!!! Yeah!!!




My card was done using my all time favorite nature set, called "All Things of Nature." I stamped the image with Noir Palette ink, onto white paper. I then cut out around the hummingbird so that I could have is hovering out of the box. I colored with watercolor pencils and a dove blender. The paper is "A Little Whimsy," also from TAC, and the ribbon is from the "More Mimi" collection.

  3. Beautiful coloring on the hummingbird - looks real. Love the DP you used with this image. And talk about fussy cutting especially around his beak. What a great card.

  7. Absolutely beautiful! We have a hummingbird feeder at our front window and you nailed this one with the coloring! I've used this set a lot over the years. It will be missed.
