Published!!!
Quite a few months ago I sent some cards in to see if they would be published. As time went by, and I heard nothing, I figured they had looked at them, laughed, and thrown them in the trash. I didn't even think about them when I received a copy of "Take Ten" in my mail. My first thought was, "Did someone get me a subscription?" I totally missed the little note they had in it saying my work was in there, lol, so I was very surprised, pleased, and excited to see a whole page spread with three of my cards! WAHOO!!!
I want to say thanks to Becky Gray for the gift of the cute stamps that are on these cards. I don't know who likes them more my boys, or me.

New Look to the Same Page
This is the same page as I posted a little while ago, but I embossed the alpha stamps I used for the title, and used a line stamp for the journaling box. I like the look of metal without the price of the real stuff =). These stamps are, once again, all from The Angel Company.

Milton Moose
Isn't this "little" guy just too adorable? He is a stamp called "Milton Moose" from High Hopes. This week's challenge, over on their blog, is to create a guy card. This is what I came up with. I would really like the card, except for the fact that, after the whole card was done, I decided to add a sentiment. As I was getting ready to stamp it the block slipped from my hand. I don't think it ruined the card, but the sentiment isn't as crisp as it would have been otherwise, but, all in all, the card still makes me smile to look at it.

Another 6x6 Page
Here is another page that I found in my stamp room. The whole page is done with paper and stamps stamps from The Angel Company, even the little black part of the sentiment that says "ME -AND- MY" are from a now retired stamp set. .

6x6 Scrapbook Page
When I was clearing out my stamping room the other day, I found some old scrapbook pages that I had made for a swap quite a few years ago. Here is one of them. It uses a couple of now retired stamp sets (the leaves and alphas), but I can't remember the name of them-and am too lazy to go look them up =). I am going to have to get one of the great pics I took of Julia playing in the leaves on this.
I made this page so that it could be turned to fit either a vertical or horizontal picture, so the little box for writing could also go under the pic, instead of beside it.

Floating Away
I used my friend Heather's sketch for this card. Check out her site HERE. This little girl is another image from TAC's "Wonder and Joy" set. I sponged the clouds in the background, and her shirt was made by paper piecing. I used regular colored pencils for most of the coloring, but the balloon was done with watercolor pencils.

FIsher Boy
I just love the "Wonder and Joy" set, and this little boy in particular. The paper is from TACs "Hip Hop" collection. I used a sketch, but don't remember where it was from.

HOW old?!?
I made this to be a birthday card that would work for a guy. Do you think I ruined it with the scalloped edge? Both sets are retired TAC stamp sets.

Happy Birthday CASED Card
A fun card using TAC's "Sweet Goodies" set and my Scor-pal. The sentiment is from the "Ordinary Greetings" set.
