Last of the 3x3 Cards

Here are the last two 3x3 cards I made using TACs April SOTM. I love this set and can't wait to show it to my customers.

I used scraps from DCWV paper packs for the cardstock, and TACs Rustic Chic and Just Like Dad for the patterned paper.

3x3 Card

I am using next months TAC stamp of the month set called "Friendly Greetings" to make up some 3x3 cards sets. This one I used scraps of TACs Winchester paper to paper piece that hat, and for the strip down the side. This card was inspired by Tricias Stash Challenge on A Shade of Blue.

Fluffy Friends Two

Another card I made using Fluffy Friends. I also used Rustic Chic paper, SU Brown ribbon, and DCWV cardstock.

Fluffy Friends

I made this card with some stamped images that another wonderful angel sent me.

This little guys are just too cute. The stamp set is called "Fluffy Friends" and can be earned for free with a $250 show...right now with the double hostess rewards you would also get 2 Level A, and could pick another Level B hostess set, along with a BUNCH of half price items. If you are interested in having either a book show or a show in your home.

Squash Book Directions LInk

I have had a couple of friends ask me about directions for the squash book below...here are the directions that I used http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee/index.php/resources/tutorials/squash_book/ . It is really SO simple to make. If you don't have coasters on hand, well, I guess you now have a "perfect" reason to go out to eat...LOL!

Squash Book Album

Here is a fun little book I made with some older pictures of my sons. I made this for the Kansas Round Up as a contest entry in the mini album section...I was VERY surprised when it WON!

Supplies: Alpha Grunge, Fancy Curls, Simple-bet, scallop and circle punch, Chipboard Coasters, DCWV cardstock, and Hip Hop paper

Nena

This cutie little girl is the daughter of a friend of mine. I love the spunk and energy she has in whatever she does. I bought this paper for my boys scrapbook pages, but it worked so perfectly here for Nena.

Supplies: Hip Hop Paper, Treasure Seeker, Swirly-Bet, Bitty Blossoms, Mini Brads

An Old Car

This is the last of my birthday swap cards. This one was done for the Masculine Birthday card swap. I used the stamp set Cars and the paper Sands of Time.
I used a piece of brown fun foam for the faux tooled leather technique. I heated it on both sides and then stamped in black onto the warm foam. I also distressed the edges with the black. It looks more like real leather IRL. Wayne walked by while I was working on these and thought I was really somehow using my stamps to do this on real leather.
I used a paper piercer and plastic canvas for the holes along the top.
Ribbon: SU!

My Boys Favorite Toy

With all the toys we have in the house, their dad is still their favorite toy! Here is one of their most enjoyed forms of entertainment....attack DAD!!! They all wrestle him to the ground and pile on. Of course, if Dad is silly enough to lay on the floor they assume that is an open invitation to attack.

March 11 Sketch Challenge

Here is the sketch challenge that I posted on ASB this week. If you want to see the card that the sketch was made from you can go here.

Ladies Birthday Card Swap

I made this card for the Feminine birthday card swap I was in. I used the stamp sets Fanciful Flowers and Trendy Greetings. I used a paper piercer with a piece of plastic canvas to do the paper piercing at the top of the card.

Long Time No Post

I wasn't around this week because we were having trouble with our phone line...I didn't even have a working phone for most of the week, forget my slow dial up service. I will hopefully be back on track now that it is up and working again.

Here is my delayed sketch for this week. It is really simple, but I think fun to work with.
