Friendly Flowers

This is the final card that I came up with for my birthday party. It uses TACs "Great Greetings" and the retired "Fanciful Flowers" sets.

And, for a little family news, guess who has glasses?!? I can't believe how much older a pair of glasses makes him look.

I will try for a better picture later, but no promises...it is VERY hard to get a good picture of him with his eyes open.

Latte, Anyone?

Prayers are always welcome =)...and I appreciate the prayers of those who have prayed for me through out the ups and downs of my life. Thank you Lord for keeping me in the hollow of Your hand!

It's Your Birthday!!!

This card was inspired by a card Mischelle made on her Savvy Projects blog, and I like hers sooo much more than mine.
This card was made with some free digital paper that is available from TAC, and was the first time I have printed my own paper. I just LOVE this paper!!! The stamp set is the retired "Keep Cluckin'" from The Angel Company (at least that is what I remember the name being.

You know what? I think I like the inside of this card better than the outside, which ended up a lot darker than I wanted.

Happy Birthday, Deer

I made this card for my daddy's birthday next month. I think he would like to see this deer through the sites of his gun as much as anything =).

The supplies, paper and all, are all from The Angel Company. Colored with colored pencils

Pink Valentine Bear

Here is my final Valentine card with this cute little bear. I am entering her in the challenge over on the Teddy Bo and Bea Challenge blog.

Do you like my new embossing folder? My honey got that for me a right before all the snows came in...he is such a sweetie.

Cupcake Birthday

This card was inspired by the beautiful cards made by Mabelle over on TAC's Savvy Projects blog. Mabelle is an amazing artist, in fact she is the one who drew both the image you see here, and the ones that you see on TAC's blog. Her stamps are favorites of mine.

I didn't have the stamp set that she created her cards with, but the cupcakes reminded me of the little cutie, holding the cupcake, that you see above.

Ignore the little paper clip that you see in the second pic; it is just there to hold this gate-fold style card closed for the picture. All supplies on this card are from The Angel Company.

Retiform Blog Hop!

I am participating in my first ever Savvy Projects Blog Hop! Wahoo!!!

The theme of the blog hop this month was to go back and dust off our retiform technique skills. This technique is an oldie, but a goodie, but it also one I love the look of, but have never been able to do well myself.

For my card I used 4 TAC stamp sets, "Happy Trails" and "Running Stitches", and the retired "Wild West", and "Soft Spoken".
