In the Doghouse

I can't believe how long it has been since I have posted on my blog! WOW! Over a month. Most of that time I have had NO mojo, zip, zilch, nada. I didn't even feel like sitting down at the stamping table, forget trying to create anything. I believe my mojo is slowly returning home and I will be back to posting at regular intervals for quite awhile. We will see, we will see. This image is one that was sent to me by my dear friend Diana Molinaro, and I believe it is from the Whipper Snapper company. Isn't he cute?

3x3 Fisherboy Card

I felt like coloring the other day, but not really card making, so this is what I came up with. A cute, quick little 3x3 card that would work great for a gift tag.
I am working on getting my shading down so that a light source looks like it is coming from a certain direction. What do you think? Can you tell where the "sun" was on this little boy's fishing day?

Here Doggy

A quick and easy masculine card using a Whipper Snapper stamp that is from the many images stamped for me by my friend Diana. Thanks again Diana!
Colored with watercolor pencil and blender pen. The paper is from my stash that I have had for years.

Party Girl

This card was made using a sketch that is out on the High Hopes blog this week. It was made for a square card, but those are not my fav, so I tweeked it just a little bit.

This is yet another card made with the darling images stamped for me by my wonderful friend, Diana. I THINK it is a Whipper Snapper image, but don't quote me on that.

I colored her with watercolor pencils and a dove blender. The embossed background was done with one of my cuttlebug folders (luv 'em), and the flower were done with a punch that I have had around for eons, but almost forgot I owned.

The paper is DCWV cardstock and Basic Grey patterned paper. I added the little paper piece with yellow brad on the bottom to cover up a finger print smudge.

Little Fisherman

Here is another card I made using one of the images my friend Diana sent me. I love him, he is just too cute and fits so many of the men in my life...just not my DH, lol.
The paper is TACs "Just Like Dad" with DCWV cardstock. I cut the circlular shapes with the large Coluzzle template I bought from TAC. I colored with watercolor pencil and a dove blender, added some ddodling around the edges and some mini brads. The "sewing" on the card was done with TACs "Running Stitches set.

Stamped Images from Diana

My dear friend Diana and I just swapped some stamped images. I sent her some of my High Hopes and she sent me some Whipper Snapper (and a couple of others). She was VERY generous, and I have lots of images to play with. YouCan visit Diana's creative blog HERE. I am so excited. Here are the two cards I made today.
Stamps: Whipper Snapper (main images) TACs "Running Stitches" (on both) and "Tag Tidbits" (on umbrella card)
